Troubleshooting

/signin/, /signup/, or /account/ returns a 404

Upload Coside's routes.yaml in Ghost Admin under Settings → Labs. If the site uses custom routes, merge the Coside member routes into the existing configuration first. Uploading a routes file replaces the active routing configuration. See Install Coside.

Newsletter areas are missing

Confirm that Ghost memberships are enabled. Then check the Newsletter theme setting and choose Home, Sidebar, or Home & Sidebar. The heading and copy options are specific to their selected locations.

Signup opens the wrong experience

Check Sidebar signup method. Default popup opens Ghost Portal; Inline form displays the members form in the sidebar. Also confirm the site's public signup or invitation-only policy in Ghost.

Theme assets are missing or look outdated

Confirm that the updated theme was uploaded and activated in Ghost Admin, then refresh the browser.

The contact form does not deliver messages

Ask your site administrator to confirm that the contact form is connected to a valid Formspree form, then submit a test message. See Create custom pages.

Translation changes do not appear

Set the publication language in Ghost Admin. Coside includes translations for the languages listed in Translations. If a theme string has not been translated, it may appear in English.
