Content and images

Coside is designed for editorial publications, travel newsletters, and blogs. Add and edit posts and pages in Ghost Admin; the theme supplies the layouts and presentation.

Homepage and archives

The homepage can feature posts, let readers browse public topics, and show recent posts with load-more pagination. The Number of topics theme setting controls the maximum number of topics shown there. Tag and author archive pages include post counts and pagination.

Use featured images and clear excerpts to help readers scan post cards. Keep topic tags consistent so readers can browse related stories.

Post pages

Post pages can include the author, feature image, access indicator, share links, reading progress, and a related/next-post section. The table of contents is generated from headings in the post and can be switched on or off in the Table of contents theme setting.

Use a logical heading order in the Ghost editor. Headings are used both to structure the article and to build its table of contents.

Images

Coside uses responsive image sizes for images rendered by the theme. Ghost generates the image variants as needed. Use sufficiently large images and add meaningful alt text when an image conveys information.

The theme styles Ghost editor cards such as image, gallery, bookmark, callout, signup, and product cards. Images added inside editor cards are managed through the Ghost editor.

Responsive images are used for post cards, feature images, author and tag imagery, and publication imagery. Ghost creates the needed image variants automatically.
